Over the weekend, a short video preview of the iPad Spirit jailbreak was shared online by iPhone Dev Team member musclenerd. Today, we know have Cydia, the App Store for jailbroken iPhones and soon the iPad as well, being shown off on Apple’s latest touchscreen device which is proof of how far the iPad jailbreak initiative has gone since it began. As you’ll notice, it’s just a scaled up version of Cydia for the iPhone/iPod Touch, but we are hoping that an iPad-optimized version will be rolled out sometime in the near future. When that it will exactly happen we still don’t know nor do we have an idea when the iPad Spirit jailbreak will be released, but based on the developments in the past couple of days, it looks like everything is moving along smoothly unless, of course, Apple decides to patch the hole anew with a fresh firmware release.
